BOY what a couple weeks it's been. I've done so much work on this comic but I'm starting to forget to post the damn thing.
I actually got an interesting question recently, regarding the logic behind the animals talking. Like was the frog taking in cat language or human language or whatever. So rather than think of something to write now I'm just gonna share that with you:
The animal, human relationships is very much "cartoon logic" sometimes the animals are treated like humans and sometimes they're treated like animals. Sort or like a bugs bunny situation.
And so that goes for the talking too. Tuft has had full blown conversations with people but then they still act like he's an animal or they can't hear him at points.
There is just 0 consistency to it 😂 for all the attention to detail, the talking animals was the one thing where I was just like 'it's a cartoon it doesn't have to be clear or make sense'
So yeah, Tuft and the other animals will speak or not speak to whoever as and when it's convenient haha. You can choose what language you interpret it as in those moments 😁
