This page is dedicated to Nero, the real life black cat I made friends with in Scotland. Also shout out to Nero's owner, who despite being a man, reminded me of Debra the Not So Wicked Witch...in his own way (nice but insane).

I also went to cabaret show where a guy sang "give it to me daddy" repeatedly, so if you read the last page you'll know it's coincidences all around.

Fringe was an emotional rollercoaster, and I'm not talking about the shows as much as am my attempts to navigate the city.  I did however, discover some underground art like I planned to. An animator named Doug something or other (not enough of an online presence for me to learn his last name...my kinda guy) was doing a very bizarre show 'Only God Can Judge Me' using mixed media animation, puns and I was throwing ping pong balls at someone at one point, all in what is usually a karaoke room in the basement of a 50s bar.

I actually couldn't find the show listed and only heard about it through word of mouth, and also missed the first half because I was caricaturing in the Big Yurt to pay for my accommodation. And despite me at first thinking I'd just interrupted someone's karaoke, it was naturally my favourite thing I saw.

Anyways, it was all in all an interesting trip, but I'm also glad to be home and not constantly running late to shows I've booked anymore.

Tune in next week when I'll be back to having nothing to talk about!

Off to Scotland for the first time today! Will be doing some live drawing at Edinburgh Fringe. Will definitely make the most of seeing what performers I can while I'm there, but I'm also curious about the visual art scene. It's not the focus of the festival but it seems likes they've got some stuff there and a lot of the time that kind of stuff is hidden around if you're willing to look for it. We'll see! I'll have more to say on that next week, I'm sure.

Thanks to those who've got in touch to show love for the comic so far! It's been great to receive the little bits of feedback here and there. Even when it's just spelling corrections because, I am very much aware I cannot spell. I've yet to have it confirmed that anyone actually reads these little bits of text though, but...does it matter? Is this really for anyone but me?
